Research Interests
Dr. Ahmed's research interests are in theoretical and computational aspects of stochastic and discrete optimization. Dr. Ahmed's honors include a CAREER award from the National Science Foundation, two Faculty Partnership Awards from IBM, and a Dantzig Dissertation award from the Institute of Operations Research and Management Science.
